The £2 million visitor centre in Holywell, north east Wales, has been designed to showcase Kingspan’s products and offer a base for training and education on construction related issues.

Delivered in 34 weeks, sustainability was a key issue and the challenge was to create a building that combined Kingspan’s energy efficient products with the latest environmental technologies.

We installed a wind turbine, photovoltaic cells and solar panels to produce environmentally friendly electricity. We also introduced an innovative grey water system which collects rain water and reuses it to flush the building’s toilets.
